WINTER 2010 SHOWS ANNOUNCED

With over 200,000 people coming into Vancouver, we are honoured to play for some of the new people in town, and of course our good friends here too!

Monday Feb. 8th: TORCH RELAY @ Langely Town Hall w/ Westcoast Contortion & Destineak

Friday Feb. 12th: OPENING CEROMONIES @ SURREY CELEBRATION STAGE - HOLLAND PARK. Destineak plays a 40 minute set featuring Westcoast Contortion. Free to the public!!!

February 13th & 28th - SHAW TOWER

February 14th, 20th, 27th & March 1st: CANVAS LOUNGE - ARRIVAL SERIES. Tickets apply.

WIN A CHANCE TO BE IN A DESTINEAK VIDEO!
UPLOAD YOUR BEST CHARACTER VIDEO AND PICS TO THE FACEBOOK EVENT HERE. CAST WILL BE SELECTED BY DIRECTORS, DESTINEAK, AND YOU, OUR FANS. Filming dates will be posted soon, and will be 2 DAYS BETWEEN JANUARY 18th & FEBRUARY 6th.
We can't reveal too much, but here are 2 of the settings:
1. CIRCUS meets FIGHT CLUB. All out mayhem at a boxing ring. A young karate kid is the star.
2. TATTOO PARLOUR - Destineak gets tattooed on screen! All out dance sequences and party throughout.

3 Destineak Songs Featured in Award Winning Documentary
Gay Pride marches and festivals are happening all over the world - sometimes under heavy opposition and violence. Beyond Gay The Politics of Pride is the most comprehensive look at the role of these events ever undertaken. This film is being shown world wide at multiple film festivals, and just recently won "Jury Prize" at the Montreal Film Festival! Watch the trailer here:

Destineak is in the Studio Living Loud!

So Peeps, we've been in the trenches all month. Whew! In the studio everyday crafting some mean beats with producer Erick Decks, and engineer Dave Ottoson. Fleetwood studios is truly stunning, and we are very grateful to be surrounded by such freakin' awesome gear. We seriously didn't know how much better we could make the tracks, but after Christina got to re-track her vocals on the U-47 microphone (a vintage gem from the 60's) and Bobby recorded live drums on everything, we were blown away by the results. We are in mix mode right now, and the final masters should be done this month.

Destineak Signs Recording Contract & New Album Coming!


Oh Snap! It's on! Destineak is proud to announce that we are coming at you full force this fall with a commercial release! We have just recently penned a contract with independent label Mosh Pit Productions. Seriously a dream come true, this label is all about supporting whatever Destineak is about, and taking us to the next level.
